About Samoa

Once upon a time four people went to Samoa and there names were Ashley, Elizabeth, Taunese and Rowana. We all took a plane to Samoa, the first thing we did when we got to Samoa was going to the beach.

When we got to the beach Rowana ran straight to the water and she shouted out loud “ it’s cold”  as she swam far out into the deep water her head went under the water. But then the lifeguard saved her.

After we went to the beach we went for a bike ride because Taunese wanted to go for a ride on her bike. It was funny because she fell of the bike and she got grasses on her knees. Taunese did not want to ride a bike after that accident. So she had to stay home and play games on her tablet.

Elizabeth went wandering around in Samoa she looked at this shop with clothes, shoes and more. She was very rich, she was steering in the one window all she saw was pretty high heels. So she had bought them, as she walked out of the shop she began to walk faster but then she had tripped over. After that accident she did not wear high heels anymore so she wore her normal shoes.

When we were leaving back to New Zealand Elizabeth, Taunese and Rowana got on the plane but I didn't because I had to buy more tickets. So I had to wait for the 5am plane so I waited and waited and waited it was so long. But then the plane came in before I was leaving. I did not want to leave the beautiful island.

After all of the accidents we never wanted to do them again. That was the best day for us but it was so sad leaving.

Chapter 2: About Rosalina

Did you know she nearly won all of her games? The only school she lost to was Holy Cross, they were hard for her but at the end she got the last shot it was a close game.

The next day it was assembly and when Miss Vaafusuanga could out her name she was so excited to get another award it was the best day for her. After the award it was so cool because she did not know she was going to get a trophy. It was so golden she couldn't let go of it she carried it along with her every were.

 After that she was so tired that she had to take a brake. She was so tired that she had to stop playing netball. Keep coming to my blog for more free writing.

This week in our reading group we were learning about Samoa. We learned what Samoans eat, drink and what they play. Samoans favourite game is rugby and netball.

About Me

Fakalofa lahi atu my name is Ashley and I am a year six and I go to Point England school. I am in class 7 and my teachers name is Mrs Jacobsen. Did you know we have 5 teachers in our whole class? There names are Mrs Jacobsen, Mr Goodwin, Mr Bax, Mr Somerville and Miss Garden they are the best teachers ever.

Every Friday afternoon we will swap classes for moari the first class I went to was class 8 we were with whaea Safron we got to weave paper baskets it was so cool. It took us 3 weeks to learn how to make a paper basket ( kono ). The finishing touch was when we got ot take the kono home and show it off to our family.

Fashion Show 2011

Chapter 1: Rosalina

On a sunny afternoon a girl named Rosalina was playing sports. She liked to play sports on the field or the courts. She liked to play sports for Pt England school. The sport she really liked was netball. Every Mondays and Thursdays she has training s for netball, she is really good at netball. Even though she was a year 5 she still played with the year 6.

Rosalina did not know about her super powers but her super powers were speed and shooting goals, every time we go to play netball or basketball she always gets the shots for her team. When she plays a netball game she is a good shooter and a great center.

The sport she plays every Wednesday is basketball she is really good. She gets all the rebounds and or the shots. She is a good defender and more.
