The Bear in the room next door

Today in room 13 Mrs Maude read a story about the bear next door. Josh had heard a noise in his parent's room. It was a loud roar! Will he get up to run to his parent's room? He had imagined that there was a bear in the next room over.

Josh put black paint all over him! When the bear comes in the bear would not see him. He had thought that a bear was jumping out the window but he just jumped on a chair piled with clothes on it.

My favourite part was when he got a ball of string and put three chocolate bars on the end of the string and he had lead it in to his room. The next morning when he woke up the chocolate bars were eaten.

All of the snuffling noises was his dad snoring.

Persuasive Arguments

No I don’t agree that we should finish on Thursday because we need to learn and get ready for collage and high school. We should stay at school untill it is Friday then we have the weekend. My Opinion is No I don’t agree because we are at school to learn and your mum and dad payed alot of money for school. We should be at school to learn and all of the teachers work hard so they could get better at learning from chrome books, netbooks or sports. Our school does lots of sports and your mum and dad has to pay your fees. I think that we should stay at school to learn and then we will go to collage and high school. Remeber to stay at school.

Immersion Assembly

Immersion Assembly Term 4 from Team 4 Pes on Vimeo.
On the first day of school we had a immersion Assembly it was not great as last year but
it was funny. My favourite part was when Miss Walters and Noah had pancakes and cream in their face.

Camp

Have you ever been to Willow park before?

In the holidays I went to camp with the Riverside Club. On the first day of camp the girls went on the flash bus and the boys went on the ugly bus our bus was nice and warm. When we got their we asked the boys “was your bus warm?” they replied “no our bus was cold.” Before we went to sit down we had to get our bags out of the bus it took a long time to get the bags out of the bus and Mr Burts truck.

After getting our room ready we had  free time we were allowed to play things like tennis, trampoline, golf, go on the park or we could stay in our cabins and do something. I went to play on the trampoline’s we had 5 minutes on the trampoline.  Mr Burt called us on the loudspeaker “All Riversiders come back into the Remuera room.”  The name of our group was GBG which stands for girls be girls.  We had to pair up with another team their name was The  Brotherhood. Our team leaders were Bobbie-Grace and Sarah.  Then it was time for lunch. When we had finished our lunch we went to  our cabins. The people in my cabin were Olivia, Shoal, Alazae, Mau, Raewen and Ashleigh.

We got time before dinner to practice our team item.  We had about 30 minutes to practice then it was time for dinner. After dinner we had church.  We sang lots of songs, some of them were,  Lean on Me and God All Mighty. When church finished we had supper then we had a choice of doing either a  crunchie hunt or play capture the flag. I decided to do the Crunchie Hunt.  At the end of the activity we had to  go straight to our cabins to get ready for bed. Before we got into our beds  everyone said a prayer. On Wednsday night we had a disco. Before the disco started Mrs Hamilton came around group by group writing colours on our hands, red, black and green. Each colour meant something different. Red was the sellers, green was the buyers and black was the cops. I was in the black team. We had to go around and  arrest the people who had a diamond. The sellers were selling the diamonds and we had to try and catch them selling them or catch the buyers buying the diamonds from the sellers. I arrested 4 people. I had heaps of fun on camp and hope I can go back again. When it was  time for us to leave willow park we had a prizegiving. The team that came first out of the girls  was the Divas. I forgot who won out of the boys. My favorite part of camp was when we had a crunchie hunt played capture the flag and the disco.  I was sad to be leaving camp but I was excited because I would be seeing my mum and family again.
