Have you ever been to Bounce and Beyond before?
During the school holidays I went to the holiday programme with Kurt, Jacob, Alister and Dylan. In the second week of the holidays on Wednesday we went on a bus to Bounce and Beyond in East Tamaki. It has bouncy castles, slides, rock climbing and it’s a bit like Chipmunks but even better.
When we arrived at Bounce and Beyond we were all excited. As we walked through the doors we had to get a wristband to play on the equipment, we had to wear socks so we wouldn’t damage the gear. I ran straight to the boxing gloves with my friend. We were fighting against a boy, he punched us both in the face then we got him back and ganged up on him. It was heaps of fun beating each other up with the big boxing gloves.
When we had finished at the boxing we ran excitedly to the long slide ready to zoom down it. First we had to walk up the steps. I was so tired after walking up them that I nearly fell down, I kept going and finally reached the top. Once I was at the top it was so slippery that I almost slipped down the slide before I was ready to slide. Getting ready to have my turn I sat down. ZOOOOOOMMMM I went really fast and ended up at the bottom quickly. It was so much fun that I went straight back up again.
The next activity I went on was rock climbing. It was on a huge bouncy castle. I found it easy to get up but it was frustrating getting down because the hand holds were so far apart, and I couldn’t reach them.
Last of all I played on the wrecking ball. There were 5 rules for the wrecking ball. The rules were, no swinging on the wrecking ball, no climbing, no pushing other people, take turns and if you fall of the mat then it’s the next persons turn.
All of a sudden it was time to leave. I felt happy when we got to Bounce and Beyond but when we were leaving we were all sad.
