Is it easy to love others?

Today we learned about a story in the bible. It was about Onesimus,Paul and Philemon. Onesimus had stole from Philemon and he ran away to Rome. There he met Paul. Paul had wrote a letter to Philemon on behalf of Onesimus. Onesimus returned back to colossae and said sorry. I think it's easy to say sorry because they might not for give you people can say mean things but you could say sorry back to the person you said it to.

Cross Country

Pt England students went to the hard rocky court we were doing cross country we did cross country on a Thursday afternoon we did it for a fun run. We all waited on the rocky court it felt like we all were baking in the hot sun. We were in our house colours the colours were Red, Green, Blue and Yellow I thought it was going to be easy but it was hard. I was nerves when it was the 9 year old girls when we went to the starting line I had butterflies when Mr Burt said “On your marks get set” when it was go there was a loud hooter I jogged around the orange cones I thought I was coming last the slimy squishy mud went through my toes, we went on 2 the muddy reserve It was so slippery that I slipped over in the mud. We went passed the huge park and we went passed the smelly farm I felt proud and I enjoyed slipping over in the slippery mud it was funny and I was happy that I came 7th.

Debate Reflection

Yesterday afternoon kiwifruits stood up in front of the whole class to say our debates. It was pretty scary but when you say your debate it’s fun too. I learned that a debate is a form of argument. Next time I could say my debate in a clear voice, I am proud of myself that I stood up in front of the whole class. When all the kiwifruits said their debates, our friends in room 13 applauded and Miss Lavakula said some nice things too.

Loving and Caring

Today in C.R.E we learned about showing love to everyone even when it's hard. We learned and sang a song today too. I find it hard to love people when they are bullying me. I find it easy to love people when they are caring for you and they help each other.

Life Ed Reflection

Peer  means that someone is  around your age  Pressure means when someone is pushing you to do something good or bad. Peer Pressure means someone around your age is pushing you to that you dont wan’t to do. My peers are 7 year olds to 13 year olds. These people can tell me what to do. My nan, papa, mum or dad. People need to remember right from wrong or else if they pick the wrong choice they might go to jail when there older. Aggresive means if someone can’t communicate to others and Assterive means that you are inportant and so am I. Passive means that if someone tells you what to do and you do it.

Friends are when you are lonely and they can cheer you up.  Friends are important because if you dont have any friends then people might bully you and your friend might stick up for you . Friends can be anyone you choose but if I were you I’d pick a kind friend.

All about Rugby League

On friday the 28th of June Room thirteen went to  Rugby League on the bottom field but first we did a warm up on the hard court. The warm up that we did was Octopus but there was four people in the middle. We had to run to the yellow line on the other side. After Octopus we had to walk down to the bottom field the grass was muddy. Our coaches  names were Sam and Mike and  they were telling us some skills we had to listen  and then after Sam and Mike talked to room Thirteen  we got splitted up into two groups Miss Lavakula said “one,two” the colours were green and blue I was in colour blue.

Before we started the game we had to get in  position we all had to spread out  there were one person from each team had to go in the middle Sam chucked the ball up in the air and one person from that team got the ball and you had to pass the ball three times my team took turns at getting the ball,we had a draw with the other team . It was time to go back to our class but it was fun playing Rugby League.

The little grey mouse was trapped  in the dark cave. The fearsome lion was sleeping in the cave. The lion woke up and clapped his paw on the little grey  mouse. “Ahh!” said the little grey mouse. “Let me go please let me go,” “okay but dont ever come back in my cave” said the lion okay then but if you need help call me. Bye.

Being Cyber smart

Cyber smart  is knowing the right thing to do when you are working online. For example not opening up ads that pop up on your screen when you are trying to do your work.

Cyber smart to me means when someone writes a hurtful email tell a teacher. Don't give people your personal details .

Term 3 Immersion Assembly

It was an exciting start to Term 3. Our school had an immersion assembly on Monday morning, the first day of school. Pt england students and teachers went to the hall. The teachers were dressed up as characters from fairy tales. The first item was team one. Mr Liufau introduced them, he said “we are going to play who am i?” There were six characters some of them were Little red riding hood, Pochontas, the Evil which from Hansel and Gretel. After team one, it was team two’s turn . Miss Glaze, Miss Blake and Mrs She got up and started dancing and acting silly. Team 3 were next they pretended they were in a game show to find a handsome prince. There was Snow White, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty. There act was funny. The handsome prince was Mr Barks all the princesses ran away from him, suddenly Mr Sommerville came running out dressed like a princess he chased after Mr Barks, everyone was laughing hard out. It was the start of team 4’s item. They were acting out the three little pigs. The three little pigs were Miss Lavakula, Miss Ouano and Mr Sommerville. Mr Marks was the big bad wolf and Miss Garden was the narrator. The first little pig went to buy some hay from a lady. She took her hay to the field and built her house.The big bad wolf came along and smelt bacon, he said “little pig, little pig let me in.” The little pig said “not by the hair on my chiny chin chin,” the wolf shouted “then I will huff and I will puff and blow your house down”. The little pigs house fell down and the wolf ate her. The second little pig bought some sticks from a lady to build her house. She took the sticks to a field and built her house.The big bad wolf came along and smelt sausages, he said “little pig, little pig let me in.” The little pig said “not by the hair on my chiny chin chin,” the wolf shouted “then I will huff and I will puff and blow your house down”. The little pigs house fell down and the wolf ate her. The last little pig was thinking he went to buy some bricks from a man he took the bricks and started to build his house. He ran into his house and the big bad wolf had said “let me in” and the little pig said “not by my hair on my chiny chin chin” the wolf shouted “then I will huff and I will puff and blow your house down”. The wolf couldn’t blow the house down so he climbed down chimney. The little pig had a pot of hot water on the fire. When the wolf climbed down he burnt his bottom and
ran away.
