Our Assembly
On Friday morning for assembly we performed a dance for our school. The dance we got to do was singing in the rain, Micheal Jackson and more it was all about confidence and so we don't be shy.
After assembly we took shots of us in our costumes it was so cool that we got perform in front of the whole school, I am not going to be shy anymore because a teacher helped me and that was Miss M she is the best.
While we got dress it was nearly morning tea time. All the teachers and the children were applauding for us. The best bit of the day was when we got the dance over and done with.
I hope You Enjoyed Fridays assembly if you did leave some feed back for me and I will reply.

A Hot Sunny Day
It was a very very hot sunny day. My feet burnt like lava and I yelled “ooouch”. As I hopped about my feet were getting hotter and hotter, but then I found a cold spot to settle down.
Today we got to write 1 paragraph about a hot sunny day. This is a paragraph that I have written.

Art
Yesterday morning we started to do art work. Today we are painting the background and maybe Tomorrow we are going to do our logos. My logo stands for Ashley because I didn't wan't to do anything that does not represent. I like painting because it is fun and you get all messy.

Netball
Every Tuesday my netball team plays netball for the school. In my team we have nine players that represents Pt England. We had won four games and lost two games, I think the hardest team we have vs was Gi Magic but the school the play for was the Kura Te Ko papa. Tomorrow we have a game but I think we are going to Win or Lose.
What we have learned for this season is how to catch a ball, driving forward and passing. If I join Netball I will never give up and Keep trying. I hope you have enjoyed

Badminton Recount
Every thursday afternoon our maths class goes to badminton. When we got to the hall Roby sat us down and explained what we were going to do. The first thing we did was a warm up it a game of stuck in the mud but you have to double hi five the person her was stuck.
We learned how to serve backhand. Backhand is when your wrist is facing your opponent, and forward hand is a serve when your palm is facing your opponent. The shuttlecock has to be in the air at all times or you will be out.
The next thing we did was around the world Robby explained the instructions then we got on to the game. When we hit the shuttlecock over the net you have to run around to the back of the line. As the line got smaller and smaller we had to run around even faster there was only 4 girls and 4 boys playing.
The last thing we did was when we said “good bye” to Robby. I enjoyed playing badminton I wish we could do it again.

My Reading Activity
Today we have been reading about the lightest wood in the World. This story is about different rafts, and the rafts names were the Pine raft, dry Whau raft and the green Whau raft. Here are two sentences I have done.
Maori used to use the whau wood to make rafts and floats for fishing nets.
Mikarere thought that their raft would win because it is more lighter.
