What a food chain is
A food chain is an order of what organisms eat. It depends on their ecosystem. This means where they live. A food chain always starts with a producer an example of a producer is a plankton. Then its consumer an example of what eats plankton is krill. And is fourth.A producer is a living thing that makes its own food from sun and soil and a consumer is a living thing that eats other living things.
