During The Holidays 2015

What did you do in the holidays?

During the holidays I went to the movies for my birthday,  I was turning 11 years old, the movie we had watched was Spongebob in 3d, during the movie we were eating popcorn, Ice Cream and we had a drink. It was so cool watching Spongebob in 3d, the choices I had to choose between was Sponge bob in 3d or Fast And Furious 7 I am glad I picked spongebob. When the movie finished everybody clapped and cheered for the movie they were so loud. As we got home we had a rest. That was the best day ever.

3 Parts Of Our Day About Polyfest

Today in my literacy class we got to choose 3 things about our trip to polyfest, this is what I have written it might be a little bit of writing but it is worth it, this is my work I hope you enjoy reading it and check back at my blog for more blog post.

One station I liked going to was Flava, because we did fun things, we had to get into groups of five or six. After you have taken your photo, you got to sign up to win a bike, when it was my groups turn we felt silly but it was funny doing silly posers. When we were finished it was so long to wait in the line to be in the competition to be in to win a bike, it was finally my turn to sign up, it was a long line for the others.

The Niuean stage was funny because they were talking in niuean but no one could understand them, after the speeches there was a dance of between Rotorua, Sarah and Saint cathes those were their nicknames, Rotorua one the competition. It was funny watching Rotorua because he did nothing he just stood there, Sarah should of one the Competition she was funny to watch.

Before we had lunch we got gift bags, in the gift bags there was a pair of glasses, sunscreen, a fan and we got a hat with it, everybody were wearing their glasses. Everybody got to wear their glasses and they got to put their sunscreen on, when it was spitting the sunscreen was coming off drip by drip, that sunscreen saved us because it was a boiling hot day.

Polyfest 2015

Yesterday morning we got to go to Polyfest, when we got on the bus everybody was excited that we were going to Polyfest, when we got there we waited and waited for Mrs Telea and her group. When we got in the Polyfest we had to sit down with the other schools, when we sat down one of the ladys said welcome to one of our special guests, it was John key some of the other schools screamed.

The first thing we did was we split up into our home classes, some of room 4 students got splited up into each class, the first thing we did was we went to the stations to have a look around. After that we sat down in front of the niuean stage and had morning tea, then we headed of to our next station, our next station was Flava we had to take photos and we got to sign up for a new bike then we got to play a game that was the end of that station.

Then we got to go and watch the kapa haka stage, it was cool looking around at things, after all of that one of the parent helpers lost a student they were going crazy, after  they found him they were calm. My favourite part of the day is when we got to split up into our smaller groups with our parents helpers, my group got a luck dip each I had in my lucky dip was loom bands I thought it was going to be cool but it was kinda stink.

In The Holidays

In the holidays I went to West Wave with my cousins, we went there for my cousins birthday party and it was on a wednesday morning, it was so cool because we got to play on the hydroslide and we even got to play in the wave pools. Every 10 minutes the syron will go off so that means the waves will come it was a loud noise.

After we jumped in the pools and had lots of fun we got to eat K.F.C it was so nice but we had to wait 20 minutes to jump back in the pools. After we finished our lunch the time was up we were aloud to go back into the pools, the first thing I went on was the hydroslide there was a long line I had to wait. But then it was my turn I thought it was going to be cool but it was kind of boring. Last thing we had to get dressed and go back home that was the best day ever!
