Our Trip to Ambury Farm

Here is my writing about Ambury Farm

Have you been to Ambury Farm before?

We went to Ambury farm because we were learning about farming. Debbie  took us into the barn and we had to do a matching game. It was all about inputs and outputs for Farmers. Our group got all of the questions right. Miss Lavakula had to split us into two teams the other team went to the milking shed and we went to the shearing shed or the wool shed.

The wool shed smelled like poo and every body covered there noses. Janine was a farmer she gave each row a bunch of sheep wool she had told us to “rub it all over our  skin” it was so disgusting.

Next Janine had showed us how to cut the poo of the sheep’s bottom with a machine when Janine finished with the sheep she had put it down a chute. Janine got the chute ready for us to slide down our line went t was so fun to slide down I wanted to have another turn.

Next we fed the lambs, goats, chickens, rooster and the baby cows are called mammals, all of the animals  were nibbiling the food out of my hands it was ticklish. The scare dist mammal was the baby cows because they are frightened of people. But my favourite part was when we got to feed the animals and it fun at Ambury farm.
